Castle archdale Night event 5th Feb 2009 Information regarding Long course. Control 9/ number 48. The map did not show the earthwall structure where the control was placed, the correct site was a further 50m along the track eg, opposite a track/path junction, the planner takes full responsibility for this error and apologises to the competitors who were at the correct site, in the light of this evidence the the result is, the competitors who did not punch control 9/ number 48 because of the error will have 5minutes deducted from their overall time which is the average time that other competitors who punched the control took from control 8--- 9, the planner can only blame the lack of light for this mistake, The map will be upgraded to include the elusive earthwall structure. The planner/ controllers decision is final. I would like to thank everybody for turning out on a cold winters night and many thanks for collecting the controls afterwards. BR Castle Archdale
